dusty2011 Posted January 2, 2012 ID:512653 Share Posted January 2, 2012 The newest version of MBAM (1.60.0.59) crashes on startup on my system (after clicking Yes on the UAC prompt). Older versions of MBAM (such as 1.51.2.1300) did not have this problem.I'm pretty sure my system is not infected with malware or viruses. I've ran scans with Microsoft Security Essentials, SUPERantispyware, Emsisoft Anti-Malware and TDSSKiller and all scans came up clean. My computer runs stable and does not suffer from any problems at the moment.I have Daemon Tools Lite installed, which may cause the problem, as in the past it has shown to be incompatible with some security suites. I have updated Daemon Tools Lite to the newest version (v4.45) but this does not solve the problem of MBAM crashing on startup.My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1 (64-bit), fully up to date. I have downloaded and installed version 1.6 and it no longer crashes on startup. I've run a quick scan with MBAM and it turned up clean.Once again thank you for your time.
