Malwarebytes fails to update/start

I've had a lot of trouble getting MWB to run. Have downloaded(/cleaned with remover) it many times, with and without AVG antivirus enabled and/or renaming it. Every time I try to start or update it, the interface just closes.

Should mention that some Malware programs such as SAS will run (seem to show clean system) although Spybot keeps hitting 'Windows No Disk Exception Processing Message c0000013....' and stopping.
