I had to re install Malwarebytes and now have version 1.60.0.1800 installed. New problem: Almost every web site I access, I get a pop up message that says "Malwarebytes anti virus has sucessfully blocked access to potentially malicius website Type: Outgoing" It then lists ip number 217.23.10.108 and/or 188.65.208.26. Sometimes it will rotate between the two as I change pages. Sometimes the message pops right away, other times a few minutes after I log on. I even get the message on my ISP's home page. Slicking the close button will close it, but a minutes later, is's back.

Checking Whois, I find one listed in the Netherlands and the other in Russia. As far as I know I have never been to any of those sites.

In the message, dose the type "outgoing" mean the problem is that my machine is trying to contact them.

I have run Malware bytes, Avast (which I did update), Register Mechanic, Ad-Aware, and Spybot. No problems found.

The computer seems to running OK, but I don't trust it. Any suggestions?

Lynn

Hello Lynn,

I'd recommend you insure that this system is free of malware.

Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete.

You already have MBAM, so no need to download it. But you do need to run it and scan the system.

Start your MBAM MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware.

Click the Settings Tab and then the General Settings sub-tab. Make sure all option lines have a checkmark.

Then click the Scanner sub-tab. Make sure all option lines have a checkmark.

Next, Click the Update tab. Press the "Check for Updates" button.

When done, click the Scanner tab.

Do a FULL Scan.

When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.

The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

Then do the other steps for DDS run and reports.

Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.

Please post there MBAM log

the DDS logs

Don't post your logs here.
