Received the following error message: PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING(5,0,CreateFile) Access is denied. It was working about 2 weeks ago so I'm a little confused. This is usually caused when you do not have Administrative privileges and you are attempted to update without them(does not affect scheduled updates). If you are on a limited user you will need to right click the Malwarebytes icon and run as Administrator to manually update. If you are not on a limited user and this is the first time you are experiencing this issue then follow the instructions below.Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important After the computer restarts, install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version Launch the program and register. Make sure to cut and paste the ID and Key into the proper fields(free users can skip). [*]Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
