Another Update Issue: MBAM And Windows 7 Professional

I have used MBAM Pro for years with no issues.

I manually updated to the latest database/program version yesterday.

MBAM closed and the install completed, the shortcut appeared on the desktop and the message to update launch the program was ticked.

I waited for the program to open and nothing happened.

I then tried to launch the program from the new desktop shortcut and the Start Menu in Windows, again, nothing.

I have run a Virus scan with Avast Pro and came up clean.

No other Windows or Third Party Software seems to be affected.

I have submitted this issue to tech support, I have run DDS etc. and submitted the logs.

Just wondering if anyone else had run into this issue.

I also ran the random installer and received the following error messages:

PROGRAM_ERROR_ENUMERATE_LANGUAGES (3,0)

The system can not find the file path specified.

Run-time error 53

The issue seems to be resolved.

I had to use the Malwarebytes uninstall tool located here:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe

I then reinstalled the program via the download link to the free version, and re-registered:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download-exe.php

So far so good.

It also resolved the problem.
