MWB blocks Acronis File Synchronization?

Aloha,

I am evaluating Acronis True Image Home 2012 for both backup and file synchronization purposes. While doing some research on the file synchronization feature, I found an article in their knowlege base that states that Malwarebytes blocks the file synchronization process, and that this is a "known compatibility issue". The suggested solution is to "disable Malwarebytes". The article was updated on August 23, 2011.

Is this information correct? Is there truly no way to make Acronis File Synchronization and MWB play nicely together? (I have MWB Pro 1.51.2 installed)

Hello HarryZ,

I have tested this product on two computers with Malwarebytes on both with Realtime Protection running. With Malwarebytes fully updated I ran into no issues with the syncing feature of Acronis True Image Home.

I did not have to set any exclusions or modify any settings. I set up the sync, with all of Malwarebytes protection running on both computers, without encountered any problems.
