DallasGreen Posted December 28, 2011 ID:510189 Share Posted December 28, 2011 Hi, I recently updated Malwarebytes (PRO) and I've had a lot of problem since. When I restarted my computer after the update I keep freezing at my desktop. Other than Malwarebytes in the background I have AVG and Zone Alarm, but those don't seem to be a problem because I've already tried disabling them upon startup. I've also tried this method that was given by Maurice Naggar in another thread and it still freezes: "Please folow this sequence for MBAM removal & re-install:1) Go to Control Panel and Add-or-Remove programs.uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-MalwareExit Control Panel2) Logoff and restart your computerGet, save, and then run the utility at the following linkhttp://www.malwareby.../mbam-clean.exe3)Logoff and restart your computer again.4)Now, reinstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.You may download a fresh copy for the reinstall from the following link:http://malwarebytes....am-download.php"I would most definitely appreciate any help that I can get, but until I can find a solution I will be using the previous version of Malwarebytes.
