Problem running programs after malwarebytes cleaned system

I was infected with the Win7 AintiSpyware Virus. I ran Malwarebytes which corrected the problem, but after restarting my computer, I cannot run any programs by clicking on the icon (either on desktop, quicklaunch or menu) I have to right click and chose run as administrator to get any exe to run. When I click on the icons, I get the "Open with" dialogue box and the only program on the list to run the .exe with is Microsoft Media Center.

Please download exeHelper from one of these two places:

http://www.raktor.net/exeHelper/exeHelper.com

http://www.raktor.net/exeHelper/exeHelper.scr

Save it to your Desktop and run it. When it finishes, restart your computer and see if you can run .exe files now.
