Unable to run .Exe after infection

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

I'm was on a my computer, on a gaming site, and I think I may have stumbled upon a virus/malware. AVG picked it up immediately and I (without thinking) did as it suggested. However immediately afterwards, I find I can't run most of the .exe programs on my computer. It seems to resemble what I've seen as the Google redirect virus, but haven't experienced any redirects. I haven't done anything else since, and would greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter. Thanks!

*The two virus's found by AVG read as win32/kryptik.xul and win32/kryptic.ruj
