Hello,

For the last couple of days I've been having issues with the ping.exe malware on my computer. I've run both malwarebytes as well as the tdsskiller and while they have found a few trojans and such, neither has found whatever is necessary to prevent this from coming back.

I'm aware that one of the first things I should do is run DDS, but for some reason once I get a certain ways into it, my entire computer freezes up. I don't really know why that is.

I'm currently working on Windows XP, on an hp desktop computer.

So, at this point any assistance someone could provide me with would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Please advise if you still have the same issues or if you have otherwise resolved them.

If not resolved, and you desire guided help here, do rerun the DDS program and post back copy of contents of DDS.txt file.

If we do not hear back from you in 4 days, this thread will be closed.
