After malware removal, "All Programs" is missing

Recommended Posts

I successfully removed an influx of malware that hid the user's user account, documents, desktop icons, etc.

I used "unhide.exe" and got it all back.

However, when I click the "Start" button, "All Programs" is completely empty in the left column and the only thing showing in the right column is "Computer". That means "Control Panel", "Documents", "Devices", etc. are missing.

Is there a way to get this stuff back? All else seems normal except for this residual damage.

If not resolved, and you desire guided help here, do rerun the DDS program and post back copy of contents of DDS.txt file.
