Hi there I removed win 7 home security from my computer last night and now I keep getting a virus call PUP.Bitminer showing up in my scans. I have removed it maybe like 4-5 times and it keeps coming back immdiatly after I start up my computer. It is continually starting a process called PING.EXE which is using large amounts of my cpu, and whenever I kill the process it comes back a short time later. Also at this time none of my .exe programs will run unless I run them as administrator and I cant seem to fix that. I cant attach the dds files because something is not allowing me to open them after saving it bu I can copy paste them for you.

:welcome:

Can you run this from the command prompt?

Open the Command Prompt window by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Command Prompt, and then, in the list of results, click Command Prompt.

Copy / paste or type in:

mbam /developer <--Note the space, it needs to be there.

Give it a few minutes for MBAM to open, run the scan and post the results.
