trojan.agent svchost.exe

Recommended Posts

Ok i have this virus its in the svchost.exe file under the windows directory. I've run mbam and avg but most other programs cause the virus to make the computer "blue screen of death" then it reboots. I tried to download and run combofix, but that also makes the computer reboot as soon as i click on it. here is my mbam log, but i realy cant get any other virus programs to run. I also tried a system restore and that had no effect on it.

I tried to run both combo fix and dds today and both programs cause an instant blue screen/memory dump then the computer restarts. I'm going to try renaming them and running them later tonight. Since last night I've run avg again, and trend micro housecall, both programs found a few various virus, and supposedly took care of them, but when I restart the computer it just seems to get worse. The virus also changed the way my computer boots into safe mode, and system recovery mode. When I try to load safe mode it pauses on the avg program load, and just freezes for like about 10 minutes before loading. And the system recovery mode, when it gets to the logon prompt it just says other user with no icon picture, both my owner name/pass and admin name/pass dont work. But if I try to run system restore right from window on a regular boot-up it seems to work fine, it just takes about 2 hours vs the usual 15 minutes.

Ok I'm almost positive I have some kind of rootkit virus. My avg when updated and working properly, picks out most of my window processes as trojans. It lists a few of the svchosts, explorer, and some other windows core programs as viruses. All attempts at removal from avg have no effect, and it says to complete you have to reboot, but it has no effect. Can somebody help me out on this one?

after I ran the tdsskiller I was able to get other programs to work without the blue screen

After that I ran avg, avg rootkit, spybot s&d, trend micro housecall, combofix, mbam, and I believe one other. Mbam came up with the svchost again, but this time it said successful removal. Avg came up with one random trojan under my temp file, and all other programs came up clean. Afterwards I reran mbam, avg, and tdsskiller again to see if they had come back after a reboot, and all came up clean. I've run about 7 separate scan one after another and all came up clean, so hopefully I'm out of the deep woods with this one. I would still like to remove as much as I can using hijackthis, but need professional oppinion. I no longer use any norton/symantec products so I wanna get all that stuff, but I wanna make sure it doesn't cause issues with any other programs. So heres the most recent hijackthis log, after everything came up clean.
