My computer got infected and hijacked by a nasty 'Win 7 Home Security 2012' virus (had all sorts of Trojans - 8 in all). I was able to go in in safe mode, download and run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Did a great job.

Just curious, my Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware desktop and quick-start icons now have a blue and yellow shield attached to the 'M' logo. Is it because my computer was infected? Thank you.

Also if you want to be sure that you got all the infection removed, you can post in the HJT section by following the steps below to have an expert check your computer out for you.

If you think you are infected (and you mentioned you were infected), here are the steps needed to get your computer cleaned....

It has to do with Administrative rights. I have the same thing on my Windows 7 Pro netbook. :) It's perfectly fine. :)
