Hello all,

New to this forum and only had Malwarebytes for a few months. So far so good. I do have a question (searched in here but couldn't find a solution).

I have the free version of Malwarebytes (because I have another A/V and real time scanning software) and whenever I do a manual full scan (on Malwarebytes), a secondary tab opens up (right under Malwarebytes). I happen to put my mouse on top of Malwarebytes and the 2nd tab shows no name/description. It then disappears. Does anyone know what is causing this? Is this normal? I have Windows 7.

If anyone needs more info, please let me know what you need.

Thanks,

Michelle

This happens to me quite a bit on Vista and 7 during scans. It doesn't indicate any sort of error, it seems that it's just taking a bit longer to scan a particular file (if you look at the GUI of the scanner it will usually stop on a particular file and then continue, and when it does, you see the second tab). It's nothing to worry about as long as the scan does continue to run to completion, which it always has for me.
