Ipod not being detected by Windows or Itunes

Hello,

My computer was recently affected by the System Recovery virus. After several scans and removals, my PC appeared to be running smoothly. A few hours later, I noticed I was unable to sync items onto the Ipod which was the first time I experienced this. The Ipod does connect/charge but does not appear in "My Computer" or in Itunes. Is it possible something from the virus could have caused this? Is it possible that the computer wasn't completely cleaned? Any solutions?

Also connected the Ipod to a another PC and the Ipod was detected and was able to sync items.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
