Got the System Fix Virus, MWB fixed most, but Desktop Icons Missing

I went through the virus removal guide here (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-system-fix) and it was mostly successful.

I ran the unhide utility which fixed my start menu but I'm still missing most of my desktop icons (My Computer, Recycle Bin, and anything "new" that I add to the desktop appears to work fine but anything old is still hidden). All of the desktop files are available in the User/begleysm/Desktop folder but they are not visible on the desktop.

OTL logs are attached.

Can you guys assist?
