Malwarebytes and Symantec Endpoint

We are looking at changing our infrastructure to use Malwarebytes. We've used AVG in the past, but their detection rate and software has gone downhill. We are also changing to Symantec Endpoint within a few weeks. Are there any known conflicts between Malwarebytes and Endpoint.

I use endpoint since the university of iowa has a site lic for the entire campus and includes all staff & students to use on their own computers for n/c. But mwb justs stops when it gets into the symantec folders. Disabling endpoint doesn't help either.

We have to use Symantec as we are a dealer and the corporate office negotiates the contracts.

I hope that the problem that 'wth' had isn't related. I just got my Symantec licence this morning.

I am not aware of conflicts with Symantec products, so you should be fine.

I use endpoint since the university of iowa has a site lic for the entire campus and includes all staff & students to use on their own computers for n/c. But mwb justs stops when it gets into the symantec folders. Disabling endpoint doesn't help either.

Endpoint would have to be interfering with our Direct Disk Access driver in this case. Very odd, as I am not aware of any other software that has an issue with it.

Try following these steps, of course leaving Endpoint disabled the whole time, and let me know if it helps.

Stopping in the middle of the full scan could be related to another issue, and probably has nothing to do with Endpoint.

Please see this forum topic for troubleshooting steps, and make sure that Endpoint is turned off completely while you follow those steps, then provide feedback in that topic or in a private message for the developer who posted it.
