Windows 7 Beta and MBAM

Recommended Posts

Howdy,

I've also got Avira AntiVir running - which is, theoretically, not "compatible".

One thing I noticed is that even after putting a bunch of stuff on it, it still runs nice. I have not gotten it to crash - yet! I intend to load it with everything I have running on XP Pro or as much as will work. If it runs after that then great. It's just a matter of playing and tweaking then.

Yea, I had a friend tell me a few nights ago that AntiVir does work in Windows 7. I wonder how well it works, or if it is even capable of detecting viruses. Sounds like an interesting test. ;)

I look forward to hearing about your results. Windows 7 is going to replace Vista on my computer as soon as it's released, so it's good to know as much about it as possible.
