AOL mail has sent spam messages to contacts

Title says it all really. I have done full scan on MBAM and avast and nothing has been found. Would appreciate some help please :)

It could be that your computer is not infected and your email account was just hijacked. Try changing your password to your email account.

Not just changing to a new password, change to what is called a Strong Password.
