Lately (for the last few days) every single time I open a YouTube video I get multiple pop-ups saying that a trojan has been detected and popups blocked. For every video. Is this a real trojan or a false positive? I use Firefox, if that's important.

  3. Hi I'm wondering how easy is it to get malware from YouTube if your blocking adds with a script blocker (Noscript/Umatrix)? The reason I ask is because I accidentally watched a couple of YouTube videos without Sandboxie which I normally use all the time, maybe I'm being paranoid but I would like to verify the odds of getting malware from YouTube namely drive by downloads from videos or scripts running on the site?
  4. Hello, I was wondering if someone out there can be of assistance. I tried removing YouTube Accelerator with MalwareBytes and was unsuccessful in fully removing the program. I restarted my computer in safe mode and was finally able to delete it. Since then, I cannot connect to the internet at all. I Firefox goes to the main page, but won't go to any other webpages. Skype will not launch and IE cannot connect to the internet. Any suggestions?
  5. Not sure if this is a virus or just an outdated flash player, but whenever new youtube videos are uploaded, I can't watch them until I keep refreshing them until it says An error occured, please try again. I reset my browser and removed adblock, but I still have to refresh.
  6. I got this blocked from a particular youtube video. I thought it might've been youtube, so I tried other videos and it seems to only do it with this one. I'm using firefox and I have ad blocker. Something also interesting to note is that, I went back to this link to copy it and it didn't go off. Is this a false positive? site: hxxps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfQIiZ1jZVA&list=UU9sB2csE8cmQGMZtRqUf10w Detection, 10/1/2014 11:54:50 PM, SYSTEM, BRANDON-PC, Protection, Malicious Website Protection, IP,, r3---sn-oguesnsz.googlevideo.com, 52790, Outbound, C:\Program Files (x8
  7. I am not able to detect malware of any kind with my AV/malware scans or malware bytes even with chameleon and yet windows explorer continually crashes when I access the file delete or edit /cut/paste edit menu. also when I attempt to delete files beneath recycle bin in left menu of "my computer" window. Also, My cable repair man had gone to youtube through my computer to test the connection speed after he repaired my cable box, he clicked a video on youtube that was a double-click add( adclick.g.doubleclclick.net/aclk?))he then left before I realized it was a youtube tracking add that I lear
  8. Hi! I just scanned my system for viruses and i got these three detections: Are these false positives? What is a registry value virus? I have been running freestudio for years now and i've never had any problems with it. And binding of isaac, it's on Steam, i doubt they would release viruses?
  9. When my brother opened Firefox I think he went on EB Games website. It popped up asking to downlaod a file, which is strange because it says the file is from youtube, unless of coures there was an embedded youtube video. Hes ben on there before and this never happened but this is the file: o0U2XXgLJkilnSBis0euuJ_-ZDBRpIYn 3.8 KB From: Youtube.com I was tired at the time and said to leave it for me to look at later, so I clicked on cancel for downloading. So I dont have much detail on what the file is but it shows in Firefoxs download history and what I said about it is what it tells me. Oh and
