Hello after hours of seeing the same thing over and over and trying all the "fixes" online, nothing works. After the free trial run out I wanted to use Malwarebytes for scanning and Windows Defender for the rest. Since that checkbox to disable MB for Windows Security was changed to a "premium feature" im once and for all done with this software, kind of sad. Anyways I've seen tons of forum posts so I try to provide everything from the start. - Running Win 10 Home x64 - I am the Administrator - I am a techy guy so dont worry about jargon, I dont need tons of screenshots - I know how to use powershell/cmd etc. my issue: - After uninstalling MB, Windows Defender "Virus & threat protection" is no longer working. - It shows either "unkown" (screenshot attached) - sometimes "the service stopped click to restart" - the latter never worked it just popped up as not successful - ALSO I NOTICED I DONT HAVE THE SERVICE FOR WINDOWS DEFENDER BESIDES THE "Windows Defender Firewall" (screenshot attached) I tried: - restarted tons of time - used the MB Support tool > Advanced > Repair System > checkbox all - I run the system file checker aka the command "sfc /scannow" - also ran "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" - also tried numerous reg edit fixes, at this point it probably broke more than helped cause I was desperate - I tried reinstall/uninstalling - I restarted the pc after every single "fix" attached: - the FSS tool everyone gets recommended on this topic on these forums here (check boxed everything) - a screenshot of how win security looks like (no clicking scan didn't fix anything cause it does not DO anything) - the zip of the MB Support tool "collect logs" options I wish not every forum post would include the "this fix is only for this specific user" and instead someone write a tool that fixes this damn issue. Please Porthos, Maurice Naggar or AdvancedSetup show me the light! FSS.txt mbst-grab-results.zip

Hey. So I recently installed a software which came with a patch file which was not what it should have been. Running that patch file didn't do anything but later I realised that my Windows Defender is disabled automatically. When I checked the Control Panel, I found out that the Virus Protection Part of it is completely gone. It's not there at all (image attached below). So, I tried a few methods from the internet like:- 1. Downloaded and ran the windefend.reg file. (This gave me an error saying I don't have permission.) 2. Ran the Malwarebytes scan twice but didn't find anything. 3. Did the same thing in Safe Mode, still couldn't find anything. I have also run the FRST Scan which I saw a lot of people run and send the logs for analysing the issue. So I did the same thing and I have attached the FRST.txt and Addition.txt below for reference. Can someone please help me cuz I don't have any other Antivirus Softwares installed as Windows Defender is good enough for that purpose and I don't need to expose my PC to any more threats while the service is down. Thank you. FRST.txt Addition.txt

about 3 weeks ago I had to download a software from a site I don't trust called "get into pc" and after about 10 days I noticed windows defender doesn't exist anymore, windows update not working and the pc takes much longer to boot so I downloaded malware bytes and did a scan. It detected 27 malware elements trojans, something called bitcoin miner and some other things, I quarantined them all and installed a new windows and after about a week or so everything happened again and windows defender is deleted again and the pc rakes longer and when I scanned by malwarebytes it detected the same 27 malware elements although I deleted the software I downloaded from that site.. what should I do ?
