  1. Upgradeds today my tiny W10 32 bits tablet fromW10 build 183173 to build 18323 Upgradse went OK After the update BWB 3..6.1.1711 came up with errors Web protection Off Malware protection Off Ransomware protection Off They cannot be sitche on . Warning of a possible rootkit is given. MalwareBytes ran a scan but did not find any problems Tried uninstallation and reinstallation ( plus reactivation) but the problem still stays. Was still working OK on Build 18317.
  2. Malwarebytes 3.x Webprotection failure to start is STILL broken A/O 29 Jan 18. My system Win10 Malwarebytes version: 3.3.1.2183 Component package version: 1.0.0 Update package version: 1.0.3814 I have read most of the posts on this forum relating to this CONTINUOUSLY REOCCURRING problem since Saturday, 27 Jan 18. None of these alleged "fixes" have worked. Do you folks not do regression testing? I can no longer recommend Malwarebytes to my friends and colleagues. Most of these people lack the computer skills to deal with the CONTINUING errors pushed out by Malwarebytes. This is a very sad situation. Malwarebytes 2.x was an excellent application. It was stable, and high quality. This 3.x version has been pure junk from it's first release. Since Malwarebytes does not seem to be able to resolve the problems with this version, I have turned off the start at login option, and will not renew my licenses. SeeYa!
  3. Hello, I cannot get WebProtection to turn on or stay on. My MBAM db is up to date. All other protection services are running fine. Only WebProtection is affected. I have Sophos running as well. I have attached the mb-check-results.zip file. Please help! mb-check-results.zip
  4. Something happened with MBAM today... I've got 32 GB of RAM and suddenly a massive amount of it is being used. Web-Protection never starts.
  5. • Web protection won't start • Malwarebytes eating up to 20gb of my RAM As a result a nice BSOD. Blue Screen Of Death My PC got hot, my fans were working overtime. I checked and it was Malwarebytes doing crazy stuff with a number on my memory and processor. I hope you fix this soon because I am unprotected since I shut MB down! I already did a cleanup and a clean install with the newest version. Same result. Hurry up!
