  1. Last try... your system told me I couldn't post when I hit the submit button...Grrrrr! I've been trying for over two hours to get someone at MalwareBytes to look it this thing. I have a very large video file with an embedded Trojan in it. It was received on 04/04/16 during a torrent download. On 04/08/16 Panda Security examined the file, determined that it has Malware in it and added it to their next re-synch. I have it stored on MediaFire as a 67.45 Mb zipped, psswd encrypted file. Is anyone interested or do I let it continue in the wild? Anyone?
  2. Hi, I have recently done a fresh install of Windows 8. But everytime i do a new install, it seems my computer is infected with some kind of malware. For some reason, multiple connections on port 80 go outside and get established. I noticed that programs get installed and things in the registry get changed. In my firewall all ports are closed, except 80, 443 and smtp. Please have a look at the video i made from my desktop, showing you some of the unknown activity. http://www.filedropper.com/20140706-desktop1 Looking forward for any kind of help or advice. Kind regards, Devsel
  3. I have a Toshiba Satelite intel core i7, Windows 7 x64. For a few months now my machine has been acting up. 1. iTunes will not sync with my phone very well. I have done everything I can think of to fix it. It feels like malware but it may not be. 2. Video from youtube, hulu, netflix, and other sites will either play for a little bit and then quit or have an error or sorts or just won't play. It is rather frustrating. 3. Downloads will frequently be interupted and when they do complete then they might not work because it says they are corrupted. My copy of MBAM wouldn't install
  4. My friend asked me to take a look at his desktop yesterday and I removed a lot of viruses that plagued his computer. I want to try to not remove anything from his computer because I'll never hear the end of it. As the topic reads, I have a problem that keeps persisting. These annoying video ads keep showing up in the lower right hand corner of the screen when I use the browser (Only using it because I'm trying to go through as many possible infected areas to see if there's an issue). I removed a couple of nasty trojans for him already that kept shutting down his computer (Whihch he's happy a
  5. When my brother opened Firefox I think he went on EB Games website. It popped up asking to downlaod a file, which is strange because it says the file is from youtube, unless of coures there was an embedded youtube video. Hes ben on there before and this never happened but this is the file: o0U2XXgLJkilnSBis0euuJ_-ZDBRpIYn 3.8 KB From: Youtube.com I was tired at the time and said to leave it for me to look at later, so I clicked on cancel for downloading. So I dont have much detail on what the file is but it shows in Firefoxs download history and what I said about it is what it tells me. Oh and
  6. After running a scan and using removing a threat, I restarted my computer and then noticed web pages weren't loading many elements. My connection was fine then as far as other applications go, but the web broswer was refusing to load things other than text and very basic elements of the page. I tried 3 different web broswers and had the same problem with all. I lowered my browser security and it didn't help. I also flushed my DNS and checked router settings. This problem is specific to my computer, other computers on the network are fine. So I then decided to do a selective startup and disable
  7. Hello, my Dell laptop seems to overheat and move extremely slow when doing a video call for either skype or yahoo. I have done disc cleanup, cleared cache, and have run the latest update of MB that is attached below. Also I still have TFC loaded on my computer from the last time I had problems. My somputer ESPECIALLY slows when i have Facebook open and on a video call on yahoo or skype. on my Task Manager, running yahoo messenger, skype and internet explorer under Physical Memory under the Performance Tab is states in MB Total 3892 Cached 1475 Available 1462 Free 29. Under my Hard Drive is say
  8. I'm having an intermittent problem I cannot isolate. I don't remember making any changes or installing anything that would do this. The first symptom I noticed was that IE would have what looked like a video artifact where the address bar should be. The 'artifact' always appears in the same place on the IE window and is whatever window was underneath IE when opened. Once it happens, it's there even if the IE window is moved, minimized and restored, or resized. It will also be there in the same place if a new tab is opened from that one. See screen shot. IE will >sometimes< lock up.
  9. Hello everyone, I am new here and just wanted to see if you had any advice for me on my computer. It has had some slowness lately, normally when I am on a skype or yahoo video call. Once in a great while it will slow up during playing a game. I run MCAFEE security center from RCN my internet provider, it has real-time scanning, updates, firewall, and features virus and spyware protection, web and email protection, data protection. I tried the finallyfast.com scan and it found the following errors but I did not have it fix it as it was 29.99 just to submit the info. I thought it was 100% free
