  1. Please help! I'm pretty sure my laptop is currently infected, and any attempt to run MBAM fails with an "Unable to connect the service" error. I attempted to google a resolution to this issue, but the only forum thread which I could find is marked as resolved - I attempted to follow the same repair steps that were suggested there, but no change in condition. I have attempted to manually restart the MBAM services, but am receiving an "Access Denied" error through services.msc with error code 577. I have also attempted to reinstall the software, but this has not changed anything.
  2. Hi I cannot get malwarebytes antimalware working on windows XP 64-bit since the last 3.6 update gave me a no proc error, I downgraded 3.5 as that was the reported last supported version for XP and this is the error I get.... Support tool doesn't work because of this error: And doesn't specify which update it needs to work, I have already tried install all three: 4.0.1, 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 and none seem to fix this error.... Please help, thanks!
  3. I am very careful when downloading programs, but got a virus anyway (I don't know what hit me, but I accepted a program I really thought isn't a virus), virus deleted malwarebytes and I couldn't use Windows Defender. First thing I did was downloading malwarebytes again, of course virus blocked it, I found a way to install it, but I can't start it. When I launch Malwarebytes, I get "Unable to start. Unable to connect the Service." message (this also happens when I launch it as an administrator). Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
  4. Hello, I am having similar problems. Older versions of Malwarebytes open as well as Chameleon, but as soon as I install the latest version it won't open at all (Connect to services) I have attached the mb-check-results.zip please help me solve this. I have a two year account with Malwarebytes so I'm not sure what keeps the new version from opening in windows 10. mb-check-results.zip

  6. Malwarebytes said there was a new version for my 2nd laptop. So I upgraded from 3.0.6 The upgrade required a restart. On restart I got the message 'Malwarebytes unable to connect the service' and get the same message whenever I try to run Malwarebytes. PC runs Windows 7 Professional, fully up to date. Norton 360 Premier is AV software. Please advise... Meantime I won't be updating my other PCs.

  9. What is WdfLoad? The Malwarebytes research team has determined that WdfLoad is a Trojan.Dropper. These trojans are designed to download other malware. The Scheduled Task How do I know if my computer is affected by WdfLoad? You may see an entry similar to this in your list of Scheduled Tasks: How did WdfLoad get on my computer? Trojans use different methods for distributing themselves. This particular one was bundled with other software. How do I remove WdfLoad? Our program Malwarebytes can detect and remove this trojan.
  10. After updating today and delaying the reboot, I get this error once the reboot completed. Please advise.
  11. Studied the forum because I had the same problem. The major answers on internet says that the Malwarebytes 3 make conflicts hunting the same topics as antivirus programs will handle. I have F-Secure SAFE and in [Virus Protection] and [Manually Search] I excluded the Mawarebytes map. Before above I cleaned by uninstall with Revo uninstaller, reinstalled Malwarebytes and finally as above excluded the map in F-Sevure SAFE software. Finally I restarted the computer and got a warning from Malmwarebytes: Not all realtime protections was on, restarted one more time and now it seems to work
