  1. Hey guys, Newbie here. I've run a Custom Scan on my machine because it was getting a bit slow and a Backdoor.Remcos was detected in the LIBCRYPTO-1_1.DLL file in an Intel Install folder (Scan report attached below, sorry, it's in French, I can provide translations if needed) . Have you ever had this file detected as a malware ? Is this a false positive ? Or has my machine really been infected by something ? I've quarantined then rebooted then deleted the file. I hope I won't suffer any consequences in the long-term.. What do you guys think about this ? 3. Greetings, Malwarebytes Premium v4.0.4 has been reporting attempted outbound connections to any web site I try to visit by "goldapps.org". MWB categorizes it as a trojan. I have the latest anti-vir software from McAfee AntiVirus, Windows Defender, Ccleaner, and none of these have picked up this attempted outbound connection. Everything is running the very latest updates. I am using Win 10 Pro 64 build 18362.19h1_release.190318-1202 and am up to date on ALL programs on my system and all Microsoft security hotfixes for Win 10. I am using an Alienware 15r4 laptop, service tag 5QYHST2, and all the software from Dell/Alienware is also up to date. I have searched high and low using Google for any info I can find about goldapps.org but continuosly come up empty on results. What the heck is this goldapps.org, why does it keep trying to connect and how the heck do I get rid of it??? Thanks. MM gaps.txt
  4. Hello, I just scanned my mobile and it showed 1 Malware. Trojan/Android.Clicker.NADS. The icon that malware bytes puts on is a RED MIC, and the caption is OkK Google commands I have searched and cannot find what this malware does, can anyone help? D
  5. I logged on to Counter-Strike Source through Steam and tried to do a server search based off of a map. As the list of servers was populating, I received a Website Blocked pop-up from MalwareBytes. Just to note, I did not connect with any of the servers. Log info is: Also, I'm currently running a MalwareBytes full scan now and am going to do a McAfee scan once that is done. Is there anything else I need to check to ensure I'm not infected? The fact it's outbound has me concerned that something is sitting on my computer.
  6. After booting up my old Windows 7 PC, like usual I waited until I saw my Malwarebytes logo on my PC taskbar, indicating protection is on and current. Initially, I found that Firefox was unresponsive. Then I found that I was unable to type a gmail message on both my PC AND on my iPhone, which doesn't run Malwarebytes. My wife is on the same broadband provider, and was able to send messages. I opened Malwarebytes, and briefly saw a message: "Export log blocked by Trojan." I then started searching around the Malwarebytes site to find out what i am supposed to do about it, without success. I tried finding the message again, but couldn't. (Also, to add to my worry, I found that my Malwarebytes password was wrong, and had to reset a new one.) After a few minutes, I once again was able to start typing, everything seems normal. My question: Do I have a problem I still need to fix? Should I avoid opening banking or other websites? Or was this just some innocent transient glitch, perhaps as part of a security scan by Malwarebytes or Windows Defender? Thank you in advance.
