  1. Hello there, One of my machines using running on Windows Vista SP2 has a semi-serious problems, even i cannot name it. This is the final chance for me to figure out whether i'm safe or not. Here is the issue. I came across a malware a few years ago which is infected my machine through a non-secure JAVA web applet. After this infection, i immediately took some actions and tried neutralizing malware and cleaning as well, i also used Malwarebytes 1.x and 2.x series. After some years have passed, i still noticed that the nasty and non-existent registry entry of this malware is still visible b
  2. Hello, I need your kind help with this warning message from Comcast Constand Guard. It showed 1 Bot Detected. Bot Name "TDSS-TDL_Generic", Type "Multi-Purpose". I have both "Malwarebytes Premium" and "symantec endpoint protection" enabled on my PC, and no warning message from any of them. The system is functioning fine and scans from above antivirus were clean too. I have no idea what to do next, can you please guide me to detect and remove potential rookit from my PC? Thanks! Jay
  3. Maybe I'm the only one facing this issue. I keep my PC very clean (IT Manager). I run SAS, CCLEANER, AVG, and MBAM regularly. Haven't been infected in years. (Note: I use the free version of MBAM so I'm not expecting help from tech support. I used to use the reg version at work and think the free version is adequate for my needs). So I run the aforementioned without issue and then MBAM which wants to update to the latest version. Sure no problem in 7 years. Now it does not work. Symptoms: Starts nice new interface. Hit update,,,, nice status bar rolling,,, closes. Try running a sca
  4. I've recently been recieving incoming connections from foriegn IPs(Europe) over port 22028. MBAM blocks these connections prompting "Incoming connection from 85.x.x.x blocked; proc:"scvhost.exe". I'm worried about any other vulnerabilities this rootkit might exploit. I've tried TDSS and combofix but to no avail. I have a report generated for DDS and roguekiller.
