After launching game it crashed, after I tried to delete the folder it was open in another application. Using Process Explorer I found that it opened a schtask.exe. I looked in Task Scheduler and found a GoogleUpdateTaskMachineUAC that hasn't run yet, but it was linked to a file in Roaming/d_temp/sevices.exe with the game's logo. The game was scanned by ESET nod32 before I ran it. Malwarebytes free didn't detect anything neither did the Rootkit protection or the windows security.
I created 4 scheduled tasks and none of them are being run. I opened the Task Scheduler and noticed that they are not even in there. Other tasks that I have created, either from other programs or directly in the scheduler, are being run. I have the latest version of Anti-Malware and am running Windows 7 64-bit. Thank you. Derek
Im having issues with a popup window that covers the entire screen everytime I start up the computer. It states that its with the FBI and that Im in some sort of violation of the law because of piracy, copyright issues...something to that nature. It states that I need to pay fine of 200.00 with a Green Dot MoneyPak card or else futher consequences will ensue. Im unable to access the desktop, taskbar, nor start menu when this screen is up. I was able to access regedit through Safemode with Command Prompt and I disabled the Task Scheduler. This is a temporary fix for now, but I downloaded Autoruns and needed assistance removing this virus/malware along with any unnecessaery and unwanted programs that starts up when I login the computer. Attached is a screenshot of autoruns on the everything tab. I also ran Malwarebytes while I was on SafeMode with Command prompt.
