  1. Ok, so I feel like I'm going insane. Like every third click on Chrome either gives me a Pop-up ( Usually something pornographic) or an add. When googling something, I receive a dozen of ads and sites which appear above what Im searching for. This is what I've tried to do thus far: *Run Adwcleaner *Run Malwarebytes ( And malwarebytes pro) *Run Spybot, and two others I dont remember the name of atm. *Boot in safe mode and repeat all of the above. *Went into Programs and Features to see if there were any programs I don't remember installing. *Checking google chrome extensions and afterwards reinstalling it. *I've tried disabling Pop-ups in Google Chrome settings, and got myself an extension called uBlock which is supposed to block pop ups. Feel like I've tried everything at this point. Please help!

All: I have been asked by a member of the DisplayLink support team, a tech solutions provider for (among things) USB-dock based graphics display, hot desking and other peripheral support, to share information with Malwarebytes, its users and, specifically, the Malwarebytes support team, regarding issues/conflicts that I experienced between the latest Malwarebytes for Windows software and the latest DisplayLink for Windows drivers and software; as well as to share the solution/steps that I came up with and discovered to solve my issue. I note that I am currently (i) a Malwarebytes premium subscriber (running Malwarebytes for Windows, and (ii) a DisplayLink software user (specifically, "DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows 9.3 M0 drivers") with a USB 3.0 "Plugable UD-3900 Dual Display Universal Docking Station". The specific request from DisplayLink appears in its forums (in a response to my own "How To"-type posting) here (and/or at the top of page 2): https://displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=64896&goto=newpost; and, as evidenced by the posting itself, a member of DisplayLink's tech support team (named Alban) would like to work together with Malwarebytes' team on fixing the below-described issue. The material substance of both my issue and the posting that I left in the DisplayLink forums is cut and paste hereinbelow (here’s the original link, with my post at the bottom of “page 1”: https://displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=64896) ADDITION TO THE ABOVE: (18) Reinstall Malwarebytes. As an added measure, and whether or not this is superfluous or necessary is totally up to you: leave the "enable self-protection module early start" option (in advanced security settings) unchecked, as enabling this setting specifically "...changes the order of services and drivers associated with your computer's startup" (see the MB for Windows User Guide here: https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-3564), and you want (or, at least I want) the DisplayLink "dlcdcncm" ethernet adapter driver for the USB dock loaded early on in the PC's startup process so that the internet (using ethernet, not WiFi) works right away at the Windows login screen (and during your boot process).
  3. My computer has been heavily infected with testpid and possibly another virus. It's making many sites, including roblox, not able to function. Some things on sites have been turned into code. It's making my computer unusable and I need help getting rid of it! Thanks!

  6. I ran the basic repair tool without thinking (I was fairly tired) and upon restarting, literally nothing works. I can log in alright but programs won’t run, either doing nothing or giving me error messages. I can’t even see any available networks never mind connect to them. I’ve gotten errors for the Microsoft Notification Center, windows firewall, windows update settings, and once there was even a log telling me that the video hardware itself was damaged, which never came back after a second reset. A system restore ends up failing as well, saying it can’t access a file. Please help me ASAP.
  7. My headsets stopped working when i removed a malware from my PC. I clicked on restart via malwarebytes for the removal process to be finished and then my PC frose on the blue screen where it says restarting and then i turned the PC off and turned it on again. But once i did my PC had remove my headsets software drive and also out of nowhere my device driver was not working properly and the troubleshooter didn't detect anything. I need help pls someone help me and also this happend to my gaming headset directly after the restart and also now i have no malware left or any threat or virus but i watched YouTube and try to see solutions and not any solution worked. So pls I need someone in Support & Help to help me because no YouTube videos could help me and also pls contact me as fast as possible or comment if you know a solution. (i have checked for update drivers for my specific headsets if didn't even have any)
  8. Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) [SM-A530W] Android version 9 Phone is not rooted. No other security software running. I am unable to add any apps to the whitelist. I can view the whitelist, but that is it. I cannot figure out how to edit it in any way. As it is now, it is just blank. Nothing is in the whitelist. Long pressing apps in the, "App Manager" section does nothing other than go to that app's info within MBAM. From there I can go into Android's app info section where I can either uninstall or force stop. On the scanner page all I can do is remove things from the list by swiping left or right. Long pressing does nothing, just pressing does nothing. There is no option to modify the whitelist through settings. I have premium and the app is up-to-date. So, why can I not do anything with the whitelist other than look at it?

  10. I am using Malwarebytes for the las 3 years and everything went ok. Now, with the last update versión I am having issues: after install this versión I get the message "Unable to connect the Service"; contacted the Malwarebytes support and I am waiting for an answer since 3 days, so I went back to an older versión to "stay protected" against malware. If some one have the solution for this problema, I Will be gratefull.
  11. I recently noticed my paid subscription to Malwarebytes kept crashing partway through scans. I also have avg paid full protection and somehow I still got infected even though I’m very careful and clean. Avg cannot detect either, both on max settings. Went to safe mode, cannot run windows defender scans, cannot run avg, Malwarebytes cannot detect anything. Really need help cleaning my machine, please help!! No downloads or extra files and cannot find a virus although I’m a novice at that.

I have been paying for malware bytes for 3 years it turns out (my fault for not checking) but the fact you are still charging me when i have no email attached to an account anymore is terrible, i have just made this account with what i thought was my email from my old account but no... please get in contact with me to discus refunding and proving its my account, i have blocked you with my bank but charging me on the 27th is not okay when i have cancelled, just want some actual customer support that can recover my old account. Give me a number or something useful other than a bad forum post. (maybe i missed the number who knows with this god awful site)
  13. I downloaded AdwareCleaner after realizing there was some adware on my computer. I did a scan and it found 5 threats, it removed four but left one. When I opened up the log to check it said that Chromium URLs AOL was not deleted. Why isn't it deleting it and how can I get it to be deleted? Please help. Thank you
