  1. Dear Forum, I'm facing a little problem here... Yesterday I was browsing the web in search for a good free photo editor for my wife, as she wants to create photo calendars for the whole family as a Christmas gift. So I started to search and clicked on all possible urls that appeared. It seems that one of the urls wasn't safe as suddenly I got a pop-up message bottom right indicating a web containing the string eloypatrick and a number. I immediately got scared, since I was using my Business pc, which I'm using from home, due to the current Covid Situation. So I started to search
  2. I drafted this report in this topic, but I think it deserves a topic of it's own for better visibility, especially as I discovered more issues. 1.It doesn't autostart after reboot to perform post-reboot cleanup despite being logged on as admin both before and after reboot and UAC being already set to defaults since the very beginning . I was able to manually start post reboot cleanup using Autoruns tool. There I saw MBST autostart entry is in a Run key under HKCU. I don't remember exactly when and where but I read somewhere that Windows refuses to autostart programs that have admin rights

  4. Every time I boot my Windows 10 Pro PC or RESTART: Malwarebytes Service 4.0 DOES NOT START!! It is getting kinda of annoying. I am not able to use the services to STOP and START - it says I have no permissions even though I have Administrator access. I am really tired using the Malwarebytes Support tool to keep booting my system to get it to work. I just used it yesterday (July 24, 2020). Today I booted my system again and again : Malwarebytes Service 4.0 DOES NOT START!! I would like to be able to shutdown my system and bring it back up without this problem. The Serv

  6. Hiya! My other pc has had a problem where the real time protection was off and would not turn on and when i try running a scan it would give an error stating malwarebytes encountered a error while running a scan. This was not the latest 4 version of Malwarebytes. but the older 3 version I decided to unistall it from my programs, malwarebytes, Uniss001. Then i also tried to check from program install uninstall feature to make sure it was gone. I downloaded the latest installer from malwarebytes website and installed it. After installation, nothing happened nothing opened. i tried cli
