  1. Hy, i have Sound Problems with Youtube, Games... I was searching different reasons, but wen i shut down Malewarebytes the Problems are gone... Does anybody have the same Problem, is there any Fix for it.
  2. while trying to watch videos on new win 10 laptop w/ vlc media player & malwarebytes installed the sound & video would be less than optimum but i could live with it but after 15 or 20 minutes sound would cut off. after a frustrating few days of testing different dvds, the only way to fix was to remove malwarebytes entirely. then immediately the video & audio quality improved 100% has anyone else run into video/audio quality issues?
  3. I am using the free version of Anti-Exploit to compliment my Anti-Malware Premium product. As I use my PC to record my music I need to be able to disable system sounds so that they don't cause problems and interruptions with my recordings. As far as I can see there is no way to disable the sound Anti-Exploit makes each time a browser loads. Is there a work around for this?. I really would like to purchase the full product, but I can't commit until I can control the notification sound. Thanks Gex
  4. MalwareBytes informed me of two Trojans located in the same file and suggested I quarantine it, so I did. Upon restarting my computer, I had no sound at all, I attempted to test the sound within a windows program which told me it had 'failed'. I then opened up Malwarebytes and took a look at the history (I have the paid version with the new layout). The Trojans were labeled 'Trojan.FakeMS'. Both in the same location. The location was C:\Windows\System32\audiodg.exe What should I do about this? How can I get my sound back without keeping the Trojans?
  5. I am currently having some computer problems and I have tried every way I know to fix it. What happens is that I have random sound clips playing for no apparent reason. Be it a 20 second song clip, advertisement, whatever. It only happens when I am connected to the internet, and when I connect my laptop to my flat screen tv through HDMI when I want to watch a movie. It doesn't happen when disconnect my wifi. Now I know it's not advertisements from a browser because it does it when I shut everything down. It's not a browser playing these sounds, I have pulled up task manager and closed every process except for the mandatory ones. I have rebooted my computer in safe mode and ran a Malwarebytes scan and Kaspersky tdsskiller scan. They both brought up nothing. Neither did a Norton scan nor a Kaspersky scan, I am running Windows 7 on an HP DV4-2142nr 64-bit laptop. Any questions, thoughts, suggestions or recommendations are most welcome. Thanks.
  6. I just did an update and scan and didn't hear any sounds. Doesn't Malwarebytes make a sound after scanning or updating? If so, why don't I hear the sound? I'm thinking maybe something is corrupted. Thanks
