So I unfortunately encountered a malware when I tried to download a game from unknown sources. It was the SAntivirus one and it even installed the SAntivirus Lite on my laptop. I detected it and uninstalled the app and after that even used malwarebytes to check for potential threats and quarantined the Trojans and PPUs detected. But my laptop is still slowing down to the point where it takes almost twice/thrice the time to open up application and boot. I would really like someone's help. It you want I am ready to run scans and share the same here. I fear I might not have access to the scan result of when I removed the SAntivirus malware but I will have to check. I am obliged to anyone who helps me
Hi all, I’m a newer user of Malwarebytes. Ever since I started using Malwarebytes, any internet-related programs have been taking a long time to load including google chrome searches, discord, and GeForce now. In all cases, uninstalling Malwarebytes from my computer remedied the issue which proves that it is the problem. How would I go about fixing this? As a side note, when I tried running the Malwarebytes support tool, Malwarebytes registered FRST.exe as a ransomware. Did I do something wrong? Thanks in advance
Hello. My son has reported to me that his computer is acting very slow. He said that the internet was running much slower than usual, and some of his applications would not connect to the internet, and would run slowly as well. I used the anti-malwarebytes anti-malware scan, and ran a full scan, and found nothing. I am hoping that someone could help me resolve this problem, so he can continue his use on the computer. I am also hoping that this won't cost anything too expensive, as it is a very expensive computer. Please report back if you can with further information and/or instructions on how I can remove the virus. Thank you!
