I am also having the same issue. I have run all the tools to no avail. I have attached the requested files. Obviously, I don't want to just ignore the messages, I want to actually delete the adware or whatever it is. Help please. Thanks. FRST.txt Addition.txt

I have the same problem--smartlink.cool--but I do not want to "silence" the warning, I want to find and remove the offending source. I have performed all the steps in the post by miekiemoes but the problem remains. I also ran AdwCleaner to no avail. What can I do?

I keep getting popups from MalwareBytes saying it's blocked smartlink.cool - which is nice - but it would be good to be able to say: "Just block this, log it, but don't bother telling me every time."

Hello, Let me start by saying that I have searched for this answer already in the forum and have not found one. I work from home by myself on my own computer. I always get a pop up saying new version available to install. I do not have the time to go to update my version manually during the day. I want my computer to update the version during the night. I want to create a task in task scheduler that will run a batch file at midnight every night that will check for VERSION updates and install the update. I just want to update the *version* at midnight in a batch file that i schedule through task manager. Can anyone help with this? Thank you so much for the help in advance!

Hi ... Hope this topic hasn't been dicussed other Places in this forum, but that would really surprise me. All though I am confident that others than me has this "problem" too. I have searched the forum for other threads about this, but I did not find any. Anyhow ... It is, at least to me, very annoying that malwarebytes starts it's search for malware with a window popping up and stealing screen real estate and the focus too. Is there a way to make Malwarebytes work in silent mode? I mean ... like install and forget? rgs Øyvind Granberg Norway

Hi, I'm trying to write a script that incorporates a few different tools... MBAM, ComboFix, etc... into a command line script that can run unattended and automatically save a log to a specified folder. The commands I used were as follows: cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-malware" mbam.exe /update -silent mbam.exe /scan -full -silent /logtofolder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-malware\Logs" -log I'm running the script as an administrator and the "working" cursor comes up for a few seconds, however, the time before the script ends is nowhere near long enough to have actually run a full scan. Also, the program creates the specified log folder, but no log is saved. Any idea what's going on? Is there a specific order the parameters need to be in, for example? I've tried a few with no noticeable difference in results. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello, I was just wondering if there was any way to automate enabling the Malwarebytes protection module? I've got a silent installer running in deployment task sequence, and I would really like to take advantage of activating a product key, updating and scheduling silently - but everything that I've read says that the Protection Module must be enabled manually with the GUI first. Is there any way around this? Thanks!
