  1. Update 9/12/2019 Due to recent developments Segurazo now needs to be removed in Safe Mode. Please follow these instructions: Run Malwarebytes from Safe Mode with Networking: Step 1: Boot into Safe Mode with Networking: Restart your computer. When the machine first starts again it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point, you should gently tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with the Advanced Boot Options menu. Select the option for Safe Mode with Networkin
  2. For quite some time I had CPU usage issues that appeared to be coming from the WMI service. I figured out a workaround which was to shut down the service called "WMI" but this wasn't ideal as it would need to happen on each reboot. I have also discovered a service called NVU which claims to be NVIDIA driver updater but I suspect it is also fake. Today I figured out that WMI was a Bitcoin Miner virus and I was able to find the associated files. I could have removed them manually but I got Malwarebytes to scan and remove them for me. On reboot now, my CPU is back to norm
  3. I'm having issues with the sppsvc service, it says it consumes 99 of CPU... I just wiped clean my computer with the Windows Recovery setting and I still have the same problem... I also tried disabling the registry for the sppsvc and it's still there on Task Manager and it prevents me from moving my backup folder to my computer since it's so slow and says it'll take 14 hours or more. Any more ideas? Here's the files from FRST: Addition.txt FRST.txt
  4. As I found out, Malwarebytes does NOT STOP if you exit the program. It just keep scanning without caring what the user on PC need. I have a I4470k with 16gb ram and 3.8TB SSD and MBAM just eats away all the power I invested in. That is now OVER. SIMPLE WAY: 1) SCAN your Machine 2) disable scheduler and service 3) When you need it, start MBAM and it will start scheduler and service itself. After that I disable it again in services.

Tons of really weird processes running in the background, all these programs installed that look suspicious, and networking is completely broken, neither wifi nor wired connection goes through- error comes up for Diagnostic Policy Service not running. I gave up on that and decided to just install CCleaner (I always use this to clean out unnecessary fil
  7. Hi, Win 7 Home Premium, all Windows updates applied. Ran MB, MB Rootkit Beta, ESET online scan (found only a couple of PUPs), all report no issues, but several services won't start, can't change Windows Update settings, and many other weird manifestations. Ran sfc /scannow - no issues. Any help will be greatly appreciated. HJT log hijackthis.log, Frst.txt FRST.txt, and addition.txt Addition.txtattached. Cheers, Allan
  8. These past few days i have noticed that MBAMService is not running at startup. Instead I am having to go to Services and start it manually. Yes, it is set to automatic, but for some reason it is not running a startup. Any suggestions?
