  1. Recently my computer has been slow and acting weird. I've found out about a virus called SearchProtect on my computer. I deleted it from the uninstall programs list, but when I later went into the program files, its still there! I try to delete it right there, but I won't delete because I dont have access. I locate it's process and try to end it but it denies my access to end it. Every few seconds malwarebytes has been blocking something with thr domain of ff5ee.com, and the malicious process is C:\Windows\SysWOW64\dllhost.exe - How do I remove this virus, or these viruses?
  2. Hi, Since cleaning up my computer with MalwareBytes (a few weeks ago) I've been plagued by lots of warnings (ie perhaps 10) whenever booting up or switching user (there are two user accounts). The various warnings always refer to SearchProtect (which was thankfully removed) but the title bars change slightly: "userinit.exe - Bad Image"; "explorer.exe - Bad Image"; "dwm.exe - Bad Image"; "LoginUI.exe - Bad Image"; - and a long number more! Interestingly, when I downloaded CCleaner to my desktop then tried to install it, the warning box titled "ccleaner - Bad Image" appeared - still referr
  3. Was found to have been infected by Sweetpacks and SearchProtect after completing an anti-malware scan. I believe I may have unintentionally approved installation of these programs when installing Daemon Tools Lite. Malwarebytes detected and removed the products, but I'm still experiencing poor PC performance. 4. Hey, yesterday I found a weird program in my pc called SEARCH PROTECT BY CONDUIT. I immediately uninstalled it through Windows control panel and did a boot scan with Avast. The scan showed up several infections of SEARCH PROTECT and other malware, and apparently erased them all. Just did a Malwarebytes scan and nothing showed up, but I've read that SEARCH PROTECT is a tough one to remove, so I'm not really sure if the Avast scan was enough... I would really appreciate if you could help me find out if it's clean or not! My dds: DDS (Ver_2012-11-20.01) - NTFS_x86 Internet Explorer: 9.0.811
