  1. I have ADS X malware installed, and unable to delete it. Each time I search for anything I get several extra responses at the top of the result lists, and a small almost imperceprtible "ADS X" text at the right where I can close that irrelevant results, but still the listing has several bad responses. MALWAREBYTES was unable to remove that ADS X , Malwarebytes is not aware of it existence. REIMAGE CLEANER detects the malware but I don't want to pay them for the removal. Why Malwarebytes is not detecting it but others do? ....
  2. Hello I need some help getting rid of an unwanted malware that took over the search engine on my chrome. It seems to be from yahoo but it is a malware. Reading other posts I saw that I needed to post my own topic so here I am. I will attached a screenshot of this nightmare thanks in advance.
  3. Hi, It seems like some search engine has taken over my browser. Every time I run Firefox a search engine qv06 appears. I did some research and it's a harmful one. I want it gone. I've run Malware Bytes on my computer but it hasn't been removed. I also tried a guide online to remove it but it keeps reappearing. Can anyone help me to remove this treath? Thanks!
  4. Hello, I am recently unable to use either the google or yahoo search engine. Some research on another machine tells me this is malware of some sort, but I did a quick scan with my malwarebytes software and nothing came up. It seems mildly familiar to the google redirect virus, but it's not redirecting me. I just can't even get www.google.com to pull up at all on my PC. The google search function in my toolbar won't work either. I am able to get to www.yahoo.com, but once I'm there am unable to perform a search. It just sits there and looks like it's trying to load forever and then a pa
  5. Hi Gringo, We have been having what seems to be a very similar problem recently on our computer. Redirects to the same ad websites as mentioned earlier in a thread by haysee5. I have been following your responses in order but still no luck. I have run SecurityCheck, adwcleaner, RogueKiller, ComboFix, tdsskiller, aswMBR, OTL, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and HijackThis, and saved all the logs from each program. Do you think you might be able to help us? Thank you, Doug
  6. FIrst and foremost, thank you for the help. Recently when I click links in Google, I am redirected to Spam websites. This happens regardless of which browser I use. I've included my HiJackThis log below and I've attached the results of the DDS scan. Again, thank you for the help - I genuinely appreciate it. 7. I'm having trouble getting rid of a search engine redirector. It affects multiple search engines (Tested with google, yahoo, and bing) on multiple browsers (tested with chrome and firefox).
