I believe there's a false positive in ver 6 & ver 7 of AdwCleaner with IOBit driver booster ver 4.4 pro, when running the scan it Find the startup scheduler & I have to deselect it. The scheduler runs upon log in of the Windows user to check for outdated drivers. I have included the cleaner.txt file which lists this. Thanks, AdwCleaner[S1].txt

Hi All, I have the latest Malwarebytes but cannot schedule a scan. The time input box does not let me enter anything except 1 to 12 for the hour, and hence I can only schedule scans between 1 a.m. and 12:59 p.m. The box should allow 24h format but clearly does not. Any ideas? My Windows time and date settings are set to the German standard, since I am in Germany. That means 11:59 a.m. would be shown as 11.59, while 3 p.m. would be 15:00. Thanks, Ed

REPOSTED BECAUSE THE SYSTEM WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO EDIT MY POST. AND THEN SAID I WAITED TOO LONG (duh). Hi All, I have the latest Malwarebytes but cannot schedule a scan. The time input box does not let me enter anything except 1 to 12 for the hour, and hence I can only schedule scans between 1 a.m. and 12:59 p.m. The box should allow 24h format but clearly does not. Additionally, if I click on e.g. minutes and change e.g. "49" to "00", it ignores the change when I move away from the box and simply reverts to "49" (or whatever was in there first). Basically, the time entry dialog box is completely useless :=). Any ideas? My Windows time and date settings are set to the German standard, since I am in Germany. That means 11:59 a.m. would be shown as 11.59, while 3 p.m. would be 15:00. Thanks, Ed Note to forum admins: Not allowing edits to posts just made within a short time frame is illogical. I have to wait two minutes to edit my post? Error message just received: New posts within a short time frame are limited. Please wait 86 seconds before submitting. I am not making a new post, I am editing my post. And what do I get when I wait? This content can no longer be edited. It may have been moved or deleted, or too much time may have passed since it was posted for it to be edited. Well, that's just fantastic.

So every so often (every other day this week) the scheduled threat scan will run twice. I have it set to run every night at 11pm and to repeat if missed within an hour. Often times this is fine, it runs and that's that. Every now and then the scan will run and then 10 or so minutes again run again. The scan completes successfully both times. This has been happening for a little bit, since I changed the scan from 12am to 10pm a few weeks ago. To try and fix it I deleted all scheduled tasks (check for updates every 30 minutes and threat scan) and remade them. this time I made the scan to start tonight at 11pm. It ran shortly before 11 for some reason (10:47pm) and then again just after 11pm. It's not a seriously problem since the scan does run and always completes but it's kind of annoying and if there's an easy way to fix it I'd like to do so. Thanks.

I want Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to update as soon as I turn on my computer. Please tell me how to do it? I understand Frequency and Starting on. I don't understand how "Recover if missed by" works? For example: Frequency daily Starting on: Jan 02 2014 at 9 am Recover if missed by 1 hour. If I turn on the computer at 2 pm, when would it start to update? Thank you.

I have a mid-2010 MacBook Pro BootCamped running Win7 Pro 64bit, I installed Malwarebytes Pro and set up a scheduled update and scan, neither will run. I disabled Microsoft Security Essentials, deleted the schedules and reinstalled them, no joy. I uninstalled Malwarebytes and reinstalled, setup the schedules and still no luck. I also have an installation on my wife's hp laptop, also running Win 7 Pro but 32bit and also running Microsoft Security Essentials, I set up the schedules in it and it runs them perfectly, can someone help me figure out why it won't run on the BootCamped MBP?

Hey guys. So I have just gotten Malware Anti-Malware Bytes Pro about 2 weeks ago, and my Scheduler has not worked at all. I have daily quick scans and weekly full scans set to occur, but they never do. I am running a Windows 7 64 bit laptop computer. Database Version: v2013.09.15.06 I would appreciate any help with the issue. Thanks.

hi there, I know that this forum is for MBAM, but i hadn't found a forum related to Hitmanpro, so i decided to post here. (if i don't disturb someone ) The problem is that every time i turn on my PC, and look in Reliability Monitor (in Action Center from Windows), there is shown that HitmanPro Scheduler has stopped working; and for example if i'll restart today my computer 10 times, i'll see in Reliability Monitor the same alert writted 10 times. This means that when i turn on my computer the respective executable will have an error and will not run in memory. It is about HitmanPro 3.6.1 - Build 163 (64-bit) You can see the PrintScreen. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hi Malwarebytes team, Currently, when a person installs MBAM Pro, there is only one scheduled action, a daily update. In the scheduler demo video, the narrator recommends realtime updates, so why is this not the default? Also, scheduled scans are important, so why not have scans scheduled by default, say a daily quick scan and weekend full scan (in th background)? Another thing you could do is walk someone through how to do this when they install the program, because some people may not know that the default settings are not ideal. Just some friendly suggestions.
