  1. This issue seams to be triggered by threat intelligence updates. Also when issue is in effect threat intelligence updates, component updates and scheduled scans don't trigger. Issue fixes on its own after a day and half at most and can reoccur after another threat intelligence update. Issue can be triggered silently in the background, so if you don't check Settings About page the only clue hinting at something being wrong are the times when scheduled scans run. They'll run shortly after issue fixes on its own. This problem started around component 1.0.1045 or 1.0.1053. Clean insta
  2. I recently noticed that with the latest update of Malwarebytes for Mac(Version 3.5.27) the default monthly scan is no longer active as it was intended to be for free users. I saw it first happen on my MacBook and when i upgraded Malwarebytes on my iMac i was able to confirm that the 'Default Scan' in the "Scheduled Scans" is not activated by default... I assume this is this either intended behavior or a glitch with the latest update that need a quick patch, as it happened on two of my mac devices... but i do believe that the free users of Malwarebytes are allowed to use a free monthly s
  3. I Have been using Malwarebytes software for 5+ years back when there were two separate programs (Anti-Malware and Anti-Exploit). I have also helped several dozen family members, friends, and clients to purchase and setup this software on their PC’s. As part of the setup I have always a scheduled Daily Custom Threat Scan early every morning and a Monthly Custom Full Scan once a month. For obvious reasons these scans were generally scheduled for off hours when people were not using their computers (usually during the night while most people are asleep). This worked fine for several years th
  4. Something I've been wondering for awhile now is why MBAM free for Android doesn't have scheduled scans or automatic database updates anymore?
  5. I am a Premium user of MBAM 2. I have been using MBAM for quite a while, but I STILL cannot understand the Scheduler. Here is what I think I know about scheduled scans and updates: Scans/updates start at random times, not at times that a user schedules.Scans/updates stop whenever the computer enters sleep or hibernation.Scans/updates do not start if the computer is in a sleep or hibernation state. There is no way (in MBAM 2.0) to use the Windows Task scheduler to run scheduled MBAM tasks. Put these items together and we have a perfect storm...scans do not get run on many computers with aggre
  6. I have updated to Version 2. The new GUI is nice, but the program does not work as anticipated. NO SCHEDULED APPLICATION APPEARS TO RUN...Threat scan, Custom Scan, Update...nothing runs on schedule. I also have issues with the checkboxes in Automated Scheduling...What are they for???? There is no explanation of what toggling these on/off accomplishes. Terrible GUI. If they are checked, do they run? if they are not checked, are they immobilized? The critical issue here is that scheduled task do not run!! How do I fix this?
