  1. Why are Hyper Scan and Customs Scan options hidden from view? I had to find out by reading some of the version four manual. Doesn't Malwarebytes want the casual user to perform these types of scan? In case others are having difficulty finding these hidden options, click on the cross-hairs and in the pop-up click "Advanced scanners". Hope this saves other some time.
  2. Since I paid the license of Malwarebytes, my PC became heavy. While free/trial, it was not, not at all. There is too much hard disk activity durig Windows boot up and still a while later. It slurp my battery. My notebook is a HP Pavilion x360, Intel Core-M 2.0GHz, 4 GB ram, 1 TB HD. Before the license, Windows loading process was not that fast but now is that slow. Sometimes, Malwarebytes stays doing scans without I ask. I'd like an option to override obligatory scans.
  3. New user here. I was told by my company that I had Malware on my computer. So the IT folks installed Malware Bytes. Thought that would fix things, but it doesn't seem to have had any effect. It does a scan every day and it doesn't find anything. I've even done a full scan, and nothing comes up. But every day, sometimes more than once, it finds and stops an exploit. It says it's a .dll file error, a file that I can't delete. So I ran a SFC scan (system file checker) that is supposed to allow Microsoft the opportunity to fix any corrupt file. But that scan said nothing was wrong. How can there be nothing wrong, yet the exploit still runs daily? Running Windows 10, Intel Core i57300U, 64-bit OS. Any clues or help would be appreciated.

The scan is not in the schedule. The occurrences appear to be random. There are multiple unexpected scans per day. Remediation Steps Uninstalled the program. Installed the latest program Updated Removed the scheduled scan Created a new scheduled scan Current Version is 1.80.20.102 What is the next step for resolution?
