Since MalwareBytes quarantined/removed a load of iobit files, I decided to go ahead and uninstall all iobit programs. But because MalwareBytes has made those files vanish, none of it appears in my list of programs anymore. So I searched for iobit files and deleted all but one, which still won't delete because it keeps telling me it's in use. I planned to try removing that in safe mode next time I reboot. Except after the deletion, though I'm pretty sure I didn't actually have the iobit extension, Chrome stopped opening. It tells me that "safecheckcode64.dll" is missing. I tried reinstalling iobit to see if that replaced that file and perhaps made it appear in programs, but no luck I've also reinstalled Chrome with no change. I can't install the extension for Chrome from Opera, and if I click in the program to install another product, I get the same message. Any ideas?
