  1. Hi all, First time with this type of trouble and I've come across this forum via a Google search which I had started reading through this thread here: I will try to do my best here in understanding and communicating with the everyone and your knowledge. Thank you in advance for any help. I'll try and keep this simple and broken down into what I know. To start I am running Windows 10 on a Cyberpower PC that I purchased about 3 months ago. As briefly as I can be I use this PC strictly for iRacing and use only a limited number of applications that
  2. Enabling the Malwarebytes Safe Browsing Scanner (Setting>General>Accessibility) will prevent Mini View (Settings>Display>More) from working entirely on my LG G6 (LG-H872). I would like to have this extra layer of security running, but Mini View is a MUST for me and my tiny hands. I have heard that people are having similar issues on the LG V20. Any fix available or in the works? Thank You, Joshua Logsdon
  3. I did a full scan and got to much threats (12,190) is it safe to quarantine and delete them? Will it cause any problems to my pc or to some apps on it? result text attached. Please help me. Malwarebytes thrests scan results.txt
  4. Is it really safe for using to root mobiles? I´m experiencing a warning from my antivirus, which warns me about malwares that could be easily installed in my smartphone if I use it. Even my PC´s notifications say that, as you can see in the attached image. Please help me!! Can anyone clarify it for me?! Help!!
  5. Hi, Please can you advise if the above program is safe as I'd like to use it generally, having tested the trial. This program appears to be safe as MalwareBytes AntiMalware 2.2.0.1024 found no threats. However, Norton reported a warning as it says not many of Norton's users have used the program. I downloaded this tool from: http://www.maildev.com/download/and scanned it with MalwareBytes AntiMalware 2.2.0.1024, finding no threats. I ran it and allowed Norton to let the program run, when it warned me about the small number of users. I'm running it on Windows 10 32bit Pro which also warned of
  6. Hey, I have some nasty malware that is preventing me from running applications that require the administrator to verify the disclaimer by pressing "Yes". When I try to run a program, my screen is dimmed and I get the disclaimer popup for a brief moment, and then the popup closes and I get the following error message: "The extended attributes are inconsistent." Unfortunately this prevents me from being able to run Malwarebytes. I tried to use Chameleon, however all 13 of Chameleon's programs were blocked in the same way. Therefore I booted into safe mode and ran Malwarebytes from there.
  7. This is the code from the .bat file. It's suppose to replay a match I've had in a game called "League Of Legends" The website that stores the replay is Lolking.net. I'm pretty sure it doesn't contain malware but just to make sure since I'm skeptical about everything that may contain viruses. @echo off setlocal ENABLEEXTENSIONS setlocal EnableDelayedExpansion set VALUE_NAME=LocalRootFolder set KEY_NAME=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Riot Games\RADS FOR /F "tokens=2*" %%A IN ('REG.EXE QUERY "%KEY_NAME%" /v "%VALUE_NAME%" 2^>NUL ^| FIND "REG_SZ"') DO SET RADS=%%B IF NOT "!RADS!"=="" GOTO PLAY
  8. When running in normal boot mode,, hour glass spins but programs never launch. Everything takes minutes to process --- but nothing happens. I brought up the Task Manager, but it doesn't look normal and doesn't show any applications running (not even task manager) and the processes all show 1 or 2 CPU Some Icons not showing up on bottom Launch Tray (like internet bars, battery, etc) I ran Malware Bytes 1.x first and it found one serious virus Trojan.RotBrowser and removed it. Also removed a load of Pups. Ran TDSSKiller and it didn't find anything. Ran MalwareBytes again and it found 1 Pup (Cond

  10. Hello everyone! I just got a new laptop for the college, and I need some files from my old laptop. But, for protection, I did some scans on the old laptop to be sure that nothing is infected. Here is the results; - Avast Rescue Disk - nothing infected (some files were a "decompression bomb", but I removed them) - ESET Online Scanner - nothing infected - Malwarebytes full scan on Safe Mode - nothing infected So, I'm safe to do the backup? Or should I do the diagnostic logs? Thank you guys for the help.
  11. SafeSearch got downloaded covertly when I was downloading a program from the internet, and now when I open IE it opens to SafeSearch's page instead of the homepage I have set in Tools>Internet Options. It overrides it. I have tried every removal program suggested on the internet and none work. Malwarebytes was one of the programs recommended, but I already had Malwarebytes Pro and it doesn't even recognize it, much less get rid of it. How can I get my browser's settings back? I have Win 7 Home Premium, Sp1 and IE 11.
  12. Hello, I am using Windows 7 64-bit. My PC has been infected with the FBI MoneyPak virus and the virus has blocked my safe mode. What should I do to remove the virus without reinstalling my OS? I am writing this on a borrowed PC.
  13. Hi, friends. I have two questions refered to above newsletter: - What is the meaning of "Valid for new customers only"? I suppose all of us are old customers, as we already have purchased MBAM, therefore this offer (O&O +MBAM) attends to whom..? - By the way, I use "Privacy Eraser Pro" and I would like to ask your opinion about this software. I mean, to bring into contrast O&O and Privacy Eraser Pro - if there is a friend who has already did it. I woud be grateful. Thank you.
