  1. Hello, everyone! I'm having a problem with my company's computer, Amtex Enterprises. I'm hoping you can give me some advice. I've been using an Dell AIO Desktop for about a year for everyday tasks (Internet, word processing, etc.). Recently, I've noticed that my PC is running slower than usual. I had downloaded a file around that time. Do you believe this could be a problem? I'm looking for good advice on how to get my PC to work like it used to.
  2. I have tried to run rootkit removal tool, but that tells me DDA driver not loaded, then says resource running, I have tried downloading to another PC and putting the removal tool on USB and tried that but still the same

  4. Hi, My MBAM Premium has been running a scan for over 16 hours and is still running. Solution? Thanks!
  5. Just got Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium + Anti-Exploit Premium today. Was able to activate both. Q. Should the Anti-Exploit always display the green 'Running button' in the product window? It is located under both the General as well as the About tabs. Thx in advance.
  6. Hello, I know that many people are having problems after downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit on Windows 10 computers. You will try to run the program and it will give you an error message. If you're savvy enough to go into task manager, the process will be there but nothing will happen. This error could be due to a corrupt file when downloading the program, it could be due to an antivirus conflict, or it may have been due to encrypting the hard drive with bitlocker or truecrypt. Here is how to fix this: Go to your command prompt. (windows key, type 'cmd' , ctrl +shift +enter) - or Right click on 'command prompt' and select 'run as administrator' Type in 'cd' and then the location of the malware bytes file (it's usually under program files). For example: cd c:\program files (86x)\malwarebytes anti-exploit\ Type 'mbae-svc -install' after the extension. For example: c:\program files (86x)\malwarebytes anti-exploit\mbae-svc -install\ This should start working immediately. I was frustrated that a program I paid for was not working so I took a few minutes to play around with it. You're Welcome. -Lando.
  7. Hello Malwarebytes forum! My computer has been running very slow and the CPU usage is constantly at 90 to 100%. When I try to type something online, I have to type very slowly, otherwise the letters will not show up properly (I have to wait for each letter to show up before typing the next one). I have searched around the web but cannot find a solution. There are 4 processes that take up the most CPU. These are: - dllhost.exe (COM Surrogate 32bit) - TiWorker.exe (Windows Module Installer Worker) - upnpcont.exe (UPNP Device Host Container 32bit) - dvdupgrd.exe (DVDUpgrd 32bit) I ran a Malwarebytes scan but nothing showed up, and no folders or files were quarantined. I'm a novice with computers, so I need some help fixing up my PC. Thank you!
  8. As stated, I need help regarding this. I've tried to clean remove MBAM and re-install it but to no avail. When I run the installer, it states, "CreateFile failed; code 80. The file exists". And when I tried searching it, I can't find the file. I uninstalled my outdated Avast Antivirus and installed the latest one, and the program won't run either. Can anyone kindly assist me with this? ):
  9. I have a DELL INSPIRON running on Windows 7. My problem is this. Lately (meaning the last 7 days) my computer started running slow on internet and offline. After i got rid most of my files (copied them to an external drive) and did a full system scan with NORTON, still is slow. NORTON found 4 viruses (2 heuristics, 1 simple and a yontoo) and succesfully removed them. Is there something else I can do before having to do a FORMAT?
  10. Hi, I have seen this problem all over the internet and was wondering if you could help me.. Internet Explorer is running on my PC when I don't even use the browser, I try to end the process via Task Manager and it almost instantly reappears. I am also hearing random audio clips every 15-30 minutes even when all internet browsers are closed which drives me insane. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Cheers
