  1. I know I am infected. Upon looking for a software to scan my computer on demand I get an error message saying "The requested resource is in use". I came to a conclusion it was a root virus preventing me to use my scanner.exe. I did some research and found this forum; also upon your anti-rootkit to remove them. Upon running the rootkit, after clicking on the scan button it will display an error where it says "Can not load DDA driver. Do you want to reboot?" with two buttons asking yes and no. Clicking Yes does not reboot my computer; it leaves another error message saying "Could not install driver on boot. Scan can't continue". FRST.txt Addition.txt
  2. so i have the "requested resource is in use" rootkit, i've already tried every tutorial and they havent worked. I cant use ccleaner, windows defender, malwarebytes, etc. no matter what i try they are "in use". I also cant reboot my computer into safe mode with networking... it just restarts normally with no options whatsoever. i found another forum with someone in the same situation i am (here), and so far so good but i need help creating a fixlist.txt, 'cause i'm not good with computer stuff and im clueless lol ill provide the frst.txt and addition.txt. if you can help, thanks in advance! 3. I ran Malwarebytes and it detected 3 "rootkits" as malware. I went ahead and quarantined them and now, my audio drivers don't work. I followed some of the information from this post: I ran sfc /scannow, saved the text file, and did a restart. Nothing seems to be working. If there's something else I'm missing, please help! Thanks in advance! cbs.txt
  4. The DLLs in questions are called "portcls.sys" and "USBAUDIO.sys". MalwareBytes is flagging them both as Rootkit, however VirusTotal says they are both clean, 0 infection detected from every antivirus (MalwareBytes included). MalwareBytes' Anti Rootkit is also not detecting anything. Report.zip
