  3. Hello All, My home network was compromised about 1 year ago and I've done just about everything I can to fix it without success. I recently downloaded a registry scanner and ran a scan using the keywords "RemoteAccess". I was a little surprised at the results and was hoping someone could clarify if this is normal or not. The results showed 561 registry keys and values with the keywords "RemoteAccess". Number 1 stated Remote Access Enabled. I have Remote Access disabled, or at least I thought I did. And there are a bunch of "pipelines" i.e. ...\RemoteAccess\Policy\pipeline01 or
  4. Hello Malwarebytes forum, Yesterday while watching a streaming movie on my laptop, the mouse started to move on it's own and someone began remotely looking through my open programs. I immediately shut my computer down via the power switch and after 10 minutes, started my computer back up. I did not enter my password in the login screen and noticed that my trackpad was very unresponsive, after a few minutes, the mouse began to move on it's own again and I shut down the computer. I unplugged my home wireless router and started my computer up for a second time, this time the trackpad was res
  5. I'm running Windows 7 Pro (fully patched) with the latest anti ransomware beta and it's working perfect from what I see, At times, I provide remote support to clients and want to know if you have built-in protection from any ransomware app that may be running on a remote Pc or server I remotely connect to? All remote sessions are to Windows systems. Thanks for your help!
  6. I have been receiving help for the past several weeks from one of your email support staff named Lisa R. I sent her 2 emails on Feb 8th & haven't heard from her yet. She has always been prompt in getting back to me. She was supposed to see if my pc had a built-in factory reset because all other methods of cleaning my pc have failed. I don't know what it is, but it's hijacked my pc remotely and created a new administrator account so I can't access anything. Can someone help me?
  7. Hi, I've been checking my laptop for RATs using netstat. Every time my computer starts up, svchost makes an established connection to the IP address . Searching on google is shows that its an IP belonging to EdgeCast, in a residential area; although some uncited sources claim it belongs to microsoft. Can someone confirm if it is in fact a legit microsoft conenction, or have I been RATed? Is there anything else I can do to check for traces of RATs?
