  1. I had a problem with my computer and my technician had to wipe the hard drive clean and reinstall windows. How do I go about installing MalwareBytes? I think our subscription is still good, and I definitely want the premium MalwareBytes, not just the free version.
  2. long story I just got a extortion email from someone who offered me proof that he had hacked my system by providing me an actual old password and asking for $2000 in bitcoin or he would send obscene pictures to everyone in my contacts.   3. The Malwarebytes that was installed was not working. When I clicked the program icon was told .idd missing and suggested re-installing the program. When I tried to re-install I am getting an error message saying file already exists. The old Malwarebytes has been removed, at least it is no longer in the programs list.   4. How should SCCM detect that Anti-Malware is installed? We used the default setting to look for the MSI Product code, but found that devices that have had the client uninstalled, still have that code. So they don't get the program reinstalled. What is the preferred way to detect that Malware Bytes is not installed?
  5. Hi! I bought licence key on g2a.com and reinstalled my old win7 to new shiny win10 and when trying register program throws dialog windows with maximum licence been achieved! Right I bought 1 computer licence, but this is same computer. How can I change it to my new system. When I'm loggin to my Malwarebytes account there is writen that I have no licence registered.   6. I was having the same issue a lot of people have had lately with web protection turning itself off and refusing to turn it back on. I followed instructions to run the clean but when I hit yes to reinstall, it popped up that the install had failed and that I should contact Malwarebytes and include the results. I'm a safe browser in terms of the websites I usually end up on, but I have been using Malwarebytes for years and I'm quite anxious to be sitting here using my PC with only the Windows Defender doing anything. mb-clean-results.txt
  7. I have had MB3/Win 10 64 bit, installed and running on my Asus g73jh since November, no problems until last Saturday (1-27). I had a Windows 10 freeze up.   8. My wife's hard drive took a dive and I've reinstalled windows 7 and malwarebytes. However, when we type in my key, it says to many uses. It's just my PC and hers, but this is a fresh windows install on a new HD for her. I have not yet reactivated her windows if that matters.   10. I have Malwarebytes premium running on my PC, its version 3.0.5 Any time I try to run a scan it cancels out after a few seconds. I've tried exporting the scan, deleting the reports, restarting the program, restarting the computer and that doesnt fix it.   12. I've sent on oct 20th a support ticket 2107268 without reply until today. 5 days without reply? At least one automatic message "we are working on it". I had the software installed on windows 7. I've formatted the pc and installed windows 10. When I tried to activate the license a message informing that the number of activation were reached. I have just installed once before on windows 7.   15. Running Malwarebytes Premium (MWB) on Windows 10. I have a recurring problem. I try to solve it by uninstalling MWB, rebooting and reinstalling from the web site. Most recently I did this 15 minutes ago. The build was meant to be 3.0.6.1469. I got a notification that I was fully protected.   16. Setting up a separate thread for something I discovered along the way of fixing another problem. I had to uninstall & reinstall Malwarebytes to resolve an issue. I would start from just logging into the computer and not having and programs, browser windows, etc. open. Running the uninstaller (Add/Remove Programs) had the following experience: 1) The uninstaller might not delete C:\Windows\System32\mbae64.sys...it completes successfully, but a re-install will conk out because the installer can't overwrite it.   17. Hi, I am running Windows 10 on my home Dell XPS laptop after re-configuring the pc a few days ago following a disk failure. All has been running fine for a few days and I installed MBAM version 3 a couple of days ago and decided to run a scan earlier today.   18. Hi, as the title says, I can't reinstall Malwarebytes. It all began, when I was installing Brutal Doom addon. I saw that for some reason, the wallpaper was pure black. I was scared and first thing I thought to do was to scan my laptop with Malwarebytes. It failed, because when I tried to run it i got "runtime error 92:137 - could not call proc" error.   19. I am running Malwarebytes Premium (paid for version). It recently discovered and quaranteend about 450 PUPS after installing a download. After the quaranteen I notices MBAM did not appear in the system tray so I reinstalled; no change. I also discovered that 'Security Center" was not running but was able to fix that.   21. I am working on a PC that had MalwareBytes free edition installed, but the computer has a virus or malware on it and I can no longer run MalwareBytes. I tried to uninstall it using control panel as well as the MalwareBytes uninstall option in the programs menu and keep getting the same error: Messages file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\unins000.msg" is missing.   24. I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro, 64-bit, and I transferred my Malwarebytes Pro key onto it from my old laptop some months ago. Everything has seemed fine until recently.   25. So I had Malwarebytes on the computer I'm currently using. I was using Malwarebytes 2.0 or above. I needed to uninstall and reinstall the program. Now I didn't realize I had to deactivate my account to transfer my license in version 2.0 and above. So I used Malwarebytes clean uninstall file to unistall the program. Now I'm attempting to use the same license on the same computer, but it thinks the license is currently in use. I can't deactivate it now. What do I do?!
