  1. The Web Protection isn't turning on and the scan is stuck on pre-scan operations. I've tried to use a malwarebytes cleaner and it failed can someone help. mb-clean-results.txt
  2. I'm currently running Malwarebytes Free Version When I want to scan a newly downloaded file or archive, I'll use the right click menu option of "Scan with Malware Bytes Anti-malware." However, instead of just scanning the file directly (like in previous versions), it goes through the pre-scan step first, which is taking way too long. Is there a way to disable this for contextual scanning like this but leave it on for when I run a full system scan? Thanks!
  3. Hi, When running a scan, what exactly does Pre-Scan Operations do in MBAM (free version)? Is there any way to turn it off, or should I leave it on if it's beneficial? Thanks very much, Transformers
  4. Hello, I have a problem with Malwarebyte 2.0. I recently update my 1.75 version to 2.0. But now, when I start a scan (any type of scan), my computer freeze at the end of pre-scan operation (the first step of the scan). It's a real problem, old version perfectly work but the new version don't work. I must rester the PC by the power button to stop freeze.
  5. Windows 7 32-bit One of my user's came into work this morning and her LAN connection was down. "no connections are available" -reseated LAN cable, no change -Tried connection from a neighbors ethernet port with a different cat5 cable, no change. -rebooted, no change -plugged in an Asus USBN13 adaptor, "Device driver was not successfully installed" -plugged in an external HDD, same message *though I was able to access the contents of the hdd. -Uninstalled USB controller, reinstalled via scan for hardware changes. no change when reconnecting wifi adaptor or hdd. -ran ccleaner and wise portable registry cleaner. Found some uninstall issues, but nothing major. -ran malwarebytes, but it got stuck in a pre-scan loop. --did some research on that one. Disabled Symantec Endpoint Protection, and Malwarebytes ran successfully, but did not find anything. The only reason I believe this is an infection is the selective nature of what stops working. USB driver for mouse, keyboard, ext hdd work, but not wireless adaptors. I tried 3 different models. Let me know which log files you want to see...I'm at a loss.
