  1. 2 computers seem to be having this issue randomly; all of the sudden the lag time is huge - when i open task manager it says MBAMService is taking up 2BILLION bytes of memory, and my physical memory is at 97%. It usually also says other programs are open which are not (so they're running in the background). The most recent issue was today - we were in QuickBooks, and we tried to go to a website from QB, which caused this problem. I can't end the process - it won't allow it. the only way to get it to stop is to completely reboot the computer. Any help is greatly appreciated. --J
  2. Hello, I'd like some advice on how to make my computer run better - I think it may have some kind of virus. When I switch it on for the first time in the day, for over an hour it's unusable because it's working so hard (as in lots of whirring and the activity light flashes constantly) although it isn't being used. I have already checked my startup programs and there's nothing on there that doesn't need to be. Other than that, when it's working normally it seems to have a high physical memory reading of 91% although when I'm using it I only ever browse the internet with a few tabs open. I use
