Hi All, I'm usually pretty good about avoiding malware in recent years but I got hit recently. I downloaded what appeared to be a legit game (Mike Tysons Punch Out) from an ad I saw on Facebook. Once I realize the "game" was just a video and I wasn't actually controlling anything, I knew I guy hit with the malware. They hook you with famous 80's games. The uninstall page on their website is just a JPEG saying to use the add/remove function on your computer; obviously, this doesn't help since it is not there. I ran MalwareBytes twice to no avail. The spyware brings full page pop-ups, small pop-ups in the bottom right of the screen, and creates random links of words out of stories on unrelated websites. Anyhow, the name of the site is playpopgames. The ads say the are brought to you by playpop games, but I can't find it anywhere. There appear to be no mentions of this online so I am thinking it is somewhat brand new. Any thoughts???
