  1. Hello, I've got my mother's laptop. She has some kind of a browser hijacker. Attached are reports from: Malwarebytes scan Adwcleaner scan Farbar scan I'd appreciate guidance at this point, as I'm not in IT. THANK YOU! 2. Hello, I have been having problems with going to websites and clicking on links. For example, if I go to DeviantArt and click on an image, a new tab will appear. Sometimes it will disappear in half a second, sometimes I will get a notification that a malicious website was blocked, and sometimes the new tab loads completely. Some of the websites that are blocked from Malwarebytes are called trendingpatrol, terraclicks, and liveadexchanger. I have also included a screenshot of one of websites that managed to load. I have tried resetting my Google Chrome settings, running Malwarebytes to remove some items, and Adwcleaner. After I ran Adwcleaner and restarted my computer, I tried going to a new webpage. However the problem tabs appears again and must run Adwcleaner again to clean it, trapping myself in a cleaning cycle everytime I turn my computer off for the day. What can I do to rid myself of this persistent malware? Addition.txt FRST.txt
  3. I've allowed my son and his friend to use my PC and after they've used it it's been acting weird. My mouse double-clicks eventhough I'm only clicking, I now have SafeFinder as my new tab page in Chrome eventhough my settings show I have the Chrome App page, Chrome sometimes becomes non-resonsive and it's taking forever to start up so I think I might've been "lucky" to get something unwanted on my PC. I haven't been able to update nor use MBAM for a while but I've been so busy that I've not looked into why it couldn't update or start. My post is too long when I copy/paste the FRST and ADDITION.txt docs, so I've attached them instead. Addition.txtFRST.txtFRST.txt
