  3. Hi the NEWEST version of MALWAREBYTES is not stable enough due to more problem just like system slowdown and CPU hogging and this is the first blue screen of death that I’ve been received so far which is caused by MB program ! so , not sure what is farflt.sys.sys refers to (maybe this is a WINDOW file or a MB file) and this is an issue with either RANSOM-protection in MALWAREBYTES or with my virus-protection ? anyway , been trying to use my FIREFOX web-browser but it get hang and "not responding" message and the MB software itself isn’t responding even on the startup area ! and a lot of the same blue screen of the death when I’m right-clicking on any program’s icon / startup program which lead to crashed my system in this way ! well, I had to wipe out my hard drive and then a format and this is a newly windows installation (newly window formatting) almost from 3 day only ! I have also to install other security software’s on this laptop such ZEMANA-anti malware and HITMANpro and superantispyware free edition and KASPERSKY cloud free (which is free-antivirus) and MALWAREBYTES trial version right there! my MB setup is mb3-setup-consumer- and the first blue screen of the death was on Crash Dump Analysis -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crash dumps are enabled on your computer. This system is not configured for complete or automatic crash dumps. For best results, configure your system to write out complete or automatic crash dumps. 5. Over the past few days I have been experiencing a problem with running scans using the Premium edition. The scan will run and when it enters into the heuristic analysis phase it just keeps on going. The scan will not cancel through the interface. I have to use Task Manager to get it to end. I would appreciate some help with resolving this.
  6. I am running Malwarebytes premium on Win 10 Malwarebytes version: Component package version: 1.0.43 Update package version: 1.0.1021 Whenever I try to run a browser and malwarebytes at the same time I get a BSOD. I had heard about issues with addons so I deleted chromes add ons but still BSOD. I then downloaded firefox and still got a BSOD. When I am not running MB my computer does not crash. When I am running MB and no browser then my computer does not crash. MB worked great on my last HDD running win10 but this is a new HDD with everything newly installed. Anyone have any ideas on a fix for this?
  7. HI.. Exactly the same problem here, with Malware antimalware home premium AND Bitdefender 2016
  8. Hello. Quite revently, Malwarebytes has started to cause several BSOD's for me. I'm running Malwarebytes Premium (Pro code) At first I didn't know what was causing it, but then I downloaded and ran WhoCrashed, which pinpoints it specifically to Malwarebytes and mwac.sys (Malwarebytes Web Access Control). I have already tried fully removing it and then reinstalling it but the BSOD's returned. I will be forced to remove it for good but I really don't want to, I love Malwarebytes!
  9. Still getting the BSOD after a clean reinstall of W10 Threshold 2 X64. Just reinstall W10 x64, update all driver. Install Bitdefender TS 2016, Install MBAM Premium (last version) > On Firefox/Chrome/Edge when manipulating tabs : BSOD BAD POOL CALLER or sometimes HEADER > ndis.sys, netio.sys or tcpip.sys just crashed. It's an internal incompatibilty between BD2016 and the new MBAM, vice versa. It's easy to reproduce the bug. I had it on multiple computers. This bug can occurs BIOS crash. Only way to recover : Clear CMOS and reflash last BIOS. What the hell ?! 1 month, no update, no solution... Thanks Mbam !
  10. Sorry to say, but Kaiwen seems to have a valid point. My systems with Bitdefender 2016 and Malwarebytes have gone completely haywire as well the last couple of weeks. Daily BSOD caused by mwac.sys on my main system. All systems, 4 of them, have been completely wiped and everything reinstalled without any manufacturer bloat, but problem still remains.
  11. I have the same problem and I am running BitDefender 2016 as my antivirus.
  12. Hi. Currently my external harddrive and several USB's are infected with this folder.exe nonsense. The only thing which works to counteract this at the moment has been to disable virus protection programs (mb, avg). I have tried removing the virus with mb. However malwarebytes just deletes the entire folder with it. Is there a way in which I am able to remove the virus without deleting all my files and contents of folders. I have tried several ways I've found online and none seem to work, all from random sites. Hopefully someone here is able to provide some help. Thanks
  13. Hardware: HP Pavilion dv5 Toshiba 500 GB External Drive Software: Windows 7 Home Premium OS Microsoft Security Essentials Malwarebytes Antimalware Pro I’ll try to make this as short as possible. About 3 weeks ago I had to reformat my computer because of a virus. Was running Symantec Endpoint Protection along with MSE (know not to do that now of course) and Spybot Search and Destroy. Symantec picked up the adware virus, but it wasn’t until trying Malwarebytes free (after scanning with Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool, Microsoft Security Scanner, and Trend Micro House Call) that I found out I had 7 trojan proxies along with the adware. I clicked delete to delete them all, was then sent to start up repair, and after backing up data I reformatted the hard drive. Did the various updates for MSE, MB (now Pro), and Windows after reinstallation, and everything seemed to run ok. MB did pick up two Trojan.Zbot viruses (currently in quarantine). Within that time I put the files from my external drive back onto the computer (scanned them with both AV and nothing came up). After about a week or so though, the computer started running much slower, and MSE kept turning off (did that a lot before when I had the viruses). Ran scans with both MB and MSE but nothing was picked up. Sometimes it works fine after a while of being on, but even as I typed this my power settings were changed from HP recommended to high performance without me doing so, and I had to type this in Microsoft Word because Internet Explorer 9 couldn’t recover the forums page. I update MSE and MB daily. I also followed the steps for compatibility issues with MSE and MB. So is there an answer as to why my computer is running slow and glitchy? I hope it’s not another virus. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
